Everyone's Eyes Pop!

Here is a reason to stick to the natural eye. Everyone's eyes pop when you wear a brown smokey eye. This is because brown can be considered a warm & cool color. If you have blue, green, or brown eyes. This is a perfect look for you.

Hunger Games from China Glaze

Who is excited for the hunger games movie to come out? I am so stoked! Isn't Liam Hemsworth to die for? Well these polishes are as equally gorgeous. The ones I know I will be purchasing are Argo, Riveting, Electrify, and Luxe & Lush. All of the colors are pretty but I will be getting these ones because they are so unique. I have never seen colors like them. Comment below to tell me what colors you will purchase from this collection.

Dip Dying Hair

Pinned Image
I have been totally in love with this look lately & I am planning on doing it. One technique if you don't want to permanently dye your hair is dying it with kool-aid. The kool-aid will also stay in for at least 8 weeks. I found this great chart for how to get the perfect color. It is really small here though so click here to see the big one.

Glitter Eyes

Another Fall trend has been neutral glitter. Girls don't wear glitter because they can't afford a good brand or good adhesive. This is my favorite brand & I want to share it with you:

Tame Your Baby Hairs

If you have baby hairs like these I have a product that is inexpensive that will make your up do's look a bit more polished. I found mine at Walgreen's just FYI
It's called Organic Olive Oil Edge Control. It smells good & is clear. It is kind of like a pomade but it isn't sticky & it is very light weight. It looks like gel but it doesn't leave your hair crispy like gel does.
So if you have annoying baby hairs, I hope you will give this product a try.

Glitz & Sparkle

Here is this wonderful new polish idea for you!
All you need is:
 some fine glitter or tinsel
&
clear nail polish

Put some clear nail polish on your nails & then sprinkle some glitter on them
Wait for it to dry & then lightly press the glitter on your nails with your thumb.

After pressing, add one coat of clear nail polish & viola!! your done!!
You can either throw the extra glitter away or you can dump it back in the container.

Fall Spice Face Mask

Here is the mask I just whipped up for my self, I highly recommend trying this!!!!
It smells delish. Totally spicy & autumn like!
One tip, when your rising off the mask, take your wash cloth & exfoliate your skin with the spices. You will know exactly what I'm talking about when you do it.
This scrub makes your skin glow, it takes off all the old skin & I could tell a difference in the size & redness in my acne.

Tip Tuesday: Healthy Skin Habits

1. Start when your young, don't wait to take care of your skin.

2. Wear sunblock everyday, especially when you are in the sun!
3. Don't pop or pick blemishes!!!

4. Get plenty of sleep. Rested skin is happy skin :)
5. Don't fake bake. If you want a summer glow, don't turn to the sun. Use a self tanner!
6. Moisturize your face & the rest of your body.

7. Eat right. When I eat right my skin clears up & when I eat junk my blemishes appear!

Tip Tuesday: Build your Wardrobe!

Today my post on my fashion blog{my tumblr} is how to build your wardrobe. I thought this post was very important so I decided my blogger followers needed to hear it too:

  1. Start with neutrals: Color is great in the world of fashion but you need to make sure that you have plenty of neutral colors. Blacks, browns, whites, cremes & grays are what you need to start with.
  2. Learn to Layer: Building your wardrobe means you know how to layer efficiently. Layering adds personality to your outfits. plus, it helps you make the transition from night to day. Start out with undershirts, tanks, cardigans, camisoles, cardigans & blazers, collared shirts, vests & my favorite is scarfs.
  3. Clear out your closet: If you are just becoming interested in the fashion world, a good analogy for your closet is building a house. Start from scratch. If you already have a flair for fashion, clean out your closet every season. What you wore the most that season you keep & what you didn't wear should be tossed.
  4. Get the Basics: Make sure you have that basics. Neutral flats, undershirts, good pair of jeans, a formal & casual dress & a great casual sweater.
  5. Avoid Trendy Items: If you are just building your closet avoid trendy items. They will go out of style soon & you should first focus on purchasing the items that will not. That's not saying that you shouldn't follow up with the trends but you shouldn't splurge on one trend either.
  6. Be Balanced: Make sure you have a balanced wardrobe. If your closet consists of blazers & fitted pencil skirts..those items won't get you that far.
  7. Consider your lifestyle: When shopping for the pieces of your wardrobe consider what those clothes will be used for. Do you have a desk job? Do you attend many formal events? What is the climate of your home? These are all things to consider when shopping.
  8. Add your style: While your lifestyle may enforce a dress standard don't forget to incorporate your personality into your outfits.
  9. Check the fit: Make sure when shopping that your piece fits perfectly. Even if the fitted dress is cute on the hanger but hangs slouchy & baggy on you it will look awful. So FYI fitting rooms are there for a reason.
  10. Enjoy it: Fashion is here for us to enjoy. Don't wear anything that you don't want to but apply your style to your dress standard & have a blast building your wardrobe

Falling Green!

Green is another Fall color that is going to be in this Fall. Keep it muted though, we aren't celebrating St. Patty's Day quite yet! If you don't think you can pull of this look but want to try it my 2 biggest tips are:
1. mix your green shadows with lighter browns. It will help mute the color.
2. Keep your lashes bold. This would be the time to pull out your "natural" fake eyelashes.
Also one thing about using mints & green eye shadows is it helps tone down & conceal any redness on your skin, even if you don't apply the product on your face!
