Tip Tuesday: Summer Smooth?

How are your feet this summer? Are they going to be silky smooth or are you going to be able to see the dry, cracked skin through your new sandals? Here is an at home foot bath that will get rid of that dry skin on your feet in six simple steps.

eos shaving cream
First thing you need to do is apply shaving cream to your feet. I recommend using a cream, not a shaving gel.
listerine
Next fill a basin or sink of half water, half Listerine. Then let your feet soak in the foot bath (with the shaving cream still on.) After the time is up wrap your feet in a wet towel while the shaving cream is still on. Leave them in the towel for 30 minutes.

After the 30 minutes is up start to rub the shaving cream off. Some of the callused and discolored skin will start to peel off. Take a long time drying your feet, if they are left wet, it might cause infection. Don't put socks, shoes or sandals on for at least a half an hour.

Lotion!
Then apply a healthy amount of lotion to your feet. Don't do this treatment more than once a week or else your skin will become sore. Also this summer, remember that sandals are cute, but don't wear them everyday!

xoxo, Lexie
