All but One...

The past year I have been seeing this nail trend that I haven't been fond of. It is painting all your nail's one color & painting your ring finger different. I had only seen it with regular lacquers but then I have been seeing it with glitter like the photo below. I love it now!!! Try out this trend & let's hope it stays!!!

Tip Tuesday: Skin Hydration

I know with Labor Day passed it means the heat is gone & Fall will start to roll in. There you skin is going to get more dry & flaky. My tips for this are very simple & very easy....

~Moisturize every time you wash your face~

~Drink all you water~

~Exfoliate~

*People think that when your skin is dry you shouldn't exfoliate. You always need to exfoliate so thy dry dead skin will be refreshed.

& a Dotting tool

{If you don't have a dotting tool you can use a toothpick}

Bare Minerals is a great brand to use  in general because of the amazing quality of their products but also for the fact that their products are Eco friendly. This is a brand that I have used before & I loved it.

Your Opinion: What is the Limit??

Polyvore is a sight that I have been loving since late July. I have gotten quite good at the system too, if I do say so myself. I have been doing a lot of "Get the looks" on it too. it is really easy for me to upload them onto my blog & also my tumblr. I need your opinion on when to stop though. My collages have been the only thing that I have been posting lately.

A lot of times we get to caught up in going bold & bright. Sometimes just tone it down & be soft. Skip the eye make-up, some false lashes will be enough. Pastel nails & some pink gloss will make you look young & happy.

Tip Tuesday: Bright Lips

Bright lips have been all the rage this summer. This trend is carrying into Fall 2011. The models of Sonia Rykel, Ralph Lauren, Thakoon, & Mui Mui Ready-to-wear have been wearing it on the runway. 

Purples, Orange, Fushias & Reds...........it is a make-up artist's dream come true. Some people have a hard time getting the look though.

1. Pick a cream matte lip stick & matching lip liner. Avoid shimmer, gloss & metallic finishes. 

2. Don't wear a ton of make-up when wearing a bright lip. Go very natural with blush & eye make-up.

3. Go bold with eye lashes. A couple coats of mascara & even fake lashes.

Tip Tuesday: Bad Bangs!

I know all of us have had bad bangs once in our life. Here are my 7 tips to fix bad bangs.

1. You  need to get to your bangs when you get straight out of the shower. Don't wait till they get out of control.
2. Use heat protectants. Don't let your bangs dry or damaged. With the rest of your hair, you can chop off the damage if it gets  to crazy. Your bangs can't be cut much after they are damaged so be very cautious of that.
3. Don't use lot's of product of your bangs. {Shine sprays, Pomade, Hairspray, Serums} It can make your bangs look very greasy & that is not a pretty site. If your bangs are greasy it could look like you haven't washed your hair & your due for a bath.
4. If you are new to bangs, ask your stylist {as she styles your hair} the best & most efficient way to style your bangs. Also ask her opinion on products.

7. Love your bangs!!! I know when you have a "bad bang day" or you get a bad cut, or you cut them your self & you mess up. Well, hair grows back. Just remember these tips & you'll be a success!

Love your Hair!!!

Everyone has different hair & everyone should love it. I know it can be frustrating but be happy with what you've got! You always want what you don't have. Not everyone's hair is perfect. Some people's hair is really thin, some really thick. Some really straight & shiny. Some really curly & coarse. Some people's hair won't stay curled for the whole day, or even 3 hours. Some people can make their hair stay in a beautiful up do.
